I have used you because this is where I bought my Chevy and where my vehicle was warrantied. Unfortunately things are changing. First I would like to say the service is excellent. Steve has always been great as honest and helpful. But there are things that are beyond that that are making it impossible to stay with all American Chevy. First is my vehicle is no longer under warranty and things are breaking. As a union member I want so badly to buy union but the quality of the workmanship makes it so hard when all cars I've owned that were foreign never went to the shop for anything other than oil and tires. It seems every time my Chevy is in its a major part needing replaced. Second reason I can't stay at all American is you only use gm parts. My traverse needs a rack and pinion which gm is $600 and change but anywhere else is about $100. Why am I gonna pay $600 for a brand that's already failing in my car? I'm not. It doesn't make financial sense to stay and sink money into this car that seems to have repeated issues and replace them with overpriced parts from the same substandard manufacturer. I was very happy w/ the buying process. However I wasn't happy w/ my experience w/ Service dept on 5/3. I wanted chrome door handles installed. If you go to the GM website and GM family first website it states dealer installed for $225.00, However Service Dept wanted to charge me $390.00. I purchased a 2013 Camaro Dusk SS. The salesman, Rick Romeo located it 112 miles away at a dealership in PA. I put a deposit on the car and he personally drove to PA and drove my car back himself!!! I am very appreciative and impressed. There is not a Dusk SS available for 350 miles now. I would not have gotten the car I wanted if Rick didn't go above and beyond to make the sale!!!
